SFX IDEA: PROSTHETIC MAKEUP
A) Health and Safety Implications:
Make sure that the person that is having the makeup applied isn't allergic to the makeup products. Also make sure that the makeup doesn't irritate or have an effect on the person's skin. Also avoid the eyes and mouth and any other sensitive areas when applying the makeup.
B) Risks:
The risk of getting makeup in someones eyes or mouth is pretty low if you are careful around those areas when applying makeup or if you just avoid those areas.
C) Skills Required:
The skills required for this type of special effects are to be good at applying makeup and to make it look realistic and to be able to blend in any prosthetics to the skin. You would also have to know quite a bit about makeup and what to use for it when applying the prosthetics and the makeup.
